September 25, 2026 - Milestone for Project Concordia: the first mock-up room is finished! The project is truly taking shape and offers a wonderful glimpse into the future.
The redevelopment of the monumental Concordia building in Utrecht is steadily progressing. HERMON Heritage is transforming the former headquarters of Concordia Verzekeringen into a contemporary destination, all while preserving the building’s distinctive heritage features.
A major milestone is the completion of the first mock-up room. This model room provides a tangible look at the atmosphere, materials, detailing, and finishes that will be reflected throughout the remaining rooms and apartments. It clearly demonstrates how Concordia’s rich history is being seamlessly combined with modern comfort.
The historic section of the building will house 40 hotel rooms and 88 short-stay apartments, to be operated by YUST. In the coming period, the various phases of the redevelopment will continue to take shape.
The mock-up room is therefore more than just an example space—it is a first look at Concordia’s new future.
